Jason Tham, Ph.D., è professore assistente di comunicazione tecnica e retorica presso la Texas Tech University.

Jason è co-direttore del laboratorio di User Experience (UX) e del club studentesco Raider UX/UI.

Jason è anche lo sponsor di facoltà per la STC Student Chapter alla TTU.

Jason insegna nei corsi di ricerca UX, information design, instructional design, web publishing e retorica digitale ed è Research Partner del Digital Life Institute della Ontario Tech University.

I suoi attuali interessi di ricerca sono gli approcci di design thinking nella pedagogia e nella pratica della comunicazione tecnica oltre ai suoi libri Design Thinking in Technical Communication, Collaborative Writing Playbook e Designing Technical & Professional Communication.

Le ricerche di Jason sono apparse sulle riviste Technical Communication, Journal of Technical Writing & Communication, Computers & Composition, Technical Communication Quarterly e IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, oltre che su altre riviste e volumi pubblicati.

 


 

Jason Tham, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Technical Communication and Rhetoric at Texas Tech University.

Jason co-directs the User Experience (UX) Lab and undergraduate student club, Raider UX/UI.

Jason is also the faculty sponsor for the STC Student Chapter at TTU.

Jason teaches courses in UX research, information design, instructional design, web publishing, and digital rhetorics and is a Research Partner with the Digital Life Institute at Ontario Tech University.

His current research interests are design thinking approaches in technical communication pedagogy and practice in addition to his books Design Thinking in Technical CommunicationCollaborative Writing Playbook and Designing Technical & Professional Communication.

Jason’s scholarship has appeared in the journals Technical CommunicationJournal of Technical Writing & Communication, Computers & CompositionTechnical Communication Quarterly, and IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, among other journals and edited volumes.
